citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Cicero, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, have'invented certain new and useful Improvements in Ventilatorajof which the following is a specification;
YMy invention relates to improvements in ventilators and more particularly t0 a ventilator mountable in a window sash,v and has for its object vthe provision of a ventilator mountable in a sash, which is neat in appearance and very easily operated;
Other objects will appear hereinafter.
The invention consists in the combinations and arrangements of parts hereinafter described and claimed.
The invention will be best understood by reference to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification, and in which,

While l have illustrated and described the preferred form of construction for carrying my invention into effect, this is capable of variation and modification without departing from the spirit of the invention. I, therefore, do not wish to be limited to the precise details of the construction set forth,

Having described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Paten t, is A 1. A ventilator comprising a sleeve substantially oval shaped which is mountable through a sash and provides an opening which extends from the inside to the out-Y side of said sash and is of the full cross section of the interior of said sleeve, flanges on said sleeve for engaging the inner side of'said sash and fastening it thereto, a closing member mounted at the inner end of said sleeve and provided centrally with means projecting into said sleeve, a pivot pin mounted diametrically across said sleeve and extending through said projecting means, means connected to'said projecting means and extending through the wall of said. sleeve, and manual means attached to said connected m'eans and extending to the interior of the sash for operating said ventilator from Vthe interior of the room.V
