GASOLINE STOVE.
Application led November 3, 1921. Serial No. 512,693.
- in gasoline stoves, and has for its object to provide features tending to render the use of gasoline more safe than ordinary and including means convenient in use for controlling the flow to the burners of gasoline under pressure.
TheY invention consists of the' novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts as described herein and claimed, and as illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein,-
F ig. 1 is a plan view, partly in section, of the gasoline stove. Fig. 2 is aside view of the same. Fig. 3 is a view ofthe stove in transverse section. Fig. et is a sectional view through a valve and tank, showing one of the conduction pipes for a burner and a jacket therefor.
Referring now to the drawing for a more particular description, the invention is shown in connection with the body or frame and the gas-generating pipes m of a pair of burners 6 and 7 of .a gasoline stove.
I provide a chamber S at the back of the body or frame 5, its outer wall which is secured thereto being indicated at 9, said y chamber being adapted to contain a tank 10.
Secured to the tank and extending to the respective burners 6 and 7, but not com- Vmunicating therewith, are a pair of housing tubes l1 and 12, each adapted to contain an attenuated conducting pipe a communicating with the tank, near its bottom,v
and with a burner.
. signature' in' presence A block or valve-housing 13 is disposed outwardly of the wall 9, having a valveseat Z9 provided with a conduit c communieating with the tank. i
Numeral 14: indicates an attenuated supply-pipe for conducting gasoline under pressure to the tank, subject to the control of a valve 15 adapted to be rotated by the rod of valve-stem 16 of the valve, the stem being provided with Va thumb-piece 17.
As thus described, an operator, by rotating the valve 15 may permit gasoline under pressure to move from the single conductingpipe 14 to the tank 10 and from thence the` gasoline may move'through the conductingpipes a to the pipes m of the burners, the
attenuated pipes a, on account of the housing tubes 11, being protected from injury, the supply of gasoline to each burner being uniform, and the valve 15 being arranged for convenient operation.
l claiin'f The combination with the burners of a Y gasoline stove, 'of a housing having a wall vsecured to the upright wall of the stove, a Atank Within and supported by the wall of pipe to control a movement of oil to said y tank.
in testimony whereof, I have afiixed my of two witnesses.
