As shown in Fig. l, by dotted lines, potted plants 14 are placed on the table top 6 and the tray 12, and waste water therefrom will be delivered to the drain spout- 8 and aper; turedcup 9 for discharging into the waste receptacle 3 in an obvious manner. With a device of this character, it will be seen that unusual care in the Watering of potted plants is not required, as the waste water therefrom is directed into a receptacle in-- tended therefor.

In the form of the invention shown in Figs. 3 to 5, the legs of the stand are perpendicular throughout their length, and support a platform 2* adjacent the lower end thereof. The upper ends of the legs 15 carry inwardly directed brackets 16 that support a tubular member 17. The table top 6 has a central opening 18' formed therein that is surrounded by a depending spout that carries an outwardly directed flange 19 at itsupper end for detachable engagement with the table top 6 as indicated at20. The waste water gathering upon the table top 6 is delivered through the spout 8 into a suitable receptacle placed upon the platform 2*, the table top 6 and drain spout 8 carried thereby being bodily removable from the, tubular supporting member 17. Another form of the invention is show in Figs. 6, 7 and 8, the same embodying a pair of outwardly arched or reversely curved side legs 21 that are connected at their lower ends to a block 22 upon a base platform including a cross arm 23 and transverse legs 24 that are supported by rollers or casters 25. The upper ends of the legs'Ql are associated with a plate 4 and table top 6 as described in connection with the preferred form of the invention 'From the above detail description of the device, it is believed that the construction and operation thereof will at once be apparent, it beingnoted that waste water draining from the flower pot 14b is received upon the table top member and delivered through the spouts to waste receptacles supported on the platform. I

In a flower stand of the type described, supporting legs, a platform carried by said legs intermediate the ends thereof, a plate connecting, the upper ends of said legs and having a central opening therein, a table top resting upon said plate, a depending centrally positioned drain spout carried by the table top extending through said plate opening and spaced from thewalls thereof, and a flanged apertured cup enclosing the drain spout with the flange thereof, frictionally engaging the side walls of the plate opening. i

6. In a flower stand of the type described, supporting legs,'a platform carried by said legs intermediate the ends thereof, a plate connecting the upper endsof said legs and having a central opening therein, a table top resting upon said plate, a depending centrally positioned drain spout carried by the table top extending through said plate opening and spaced from the wallsthereof, a flanged apertured cup enclosing the drain spout with the flange thereof frictiona-lly engaging the side walls of the plate opening, and a tray supported on the table top above the drain spout.
