IMPROVEMENT IN BED-BCTTOMS.

The nature of my invention relates to animprovement in bed-bottoms; and it consists in the arrangement and combination of partsY which will be more fully described' hereafter.
The accompanying drawings represent my invention.
A B represent the frame, to which the slats C are secured by means of the springs D. These springs, shaped as shown in Figs. 5 and 6, have their lower ends, k, turned at right angles, and which are placed in the groove H, made in the top of the cross-rail A, and then secured in position by means of the metallic plates g. Just above these ends the spring is curved upward, as shown at 2, so that the spring will not strike the inside of the rail when pressed downward. The upper end of the spring is secured in a groove, H', on the under side of the sla-t by a button, g.
