Be it known that l, JAMES E. STOUT, a citizen of the UnitedStates, residing at Hanover, in the county of York and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful lmprovements in Automatic Phonographs, of which the following is a specification.

The whole cycle of steps is carried out by mechanism located below the motor board and contained .in a suitable case or fra-me which also 'con-` tains the magazine posts. The turn table is rotated by suitable means, as a friction clutch, which is driven by a worm gear, the driving worm being carried by the governor shaft which is driven preferably by an electric motor.
