Be it known that I, JosnrH PETER EAST- Mim, a citizen of the United States, and resident of Manitowoc, in the county of Manitowoc and State of lVisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Conveyer Apparatus; andl do herebydeclare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof.
My invention relates to new and useful improvements in conveying means and has particular reference to a fan conveyor for fluids, most especially for gas from gas producers and the like. I
The principal object of this invention is to provide a combined conveyer and mixer whereby gas may be simultaneously agitated, commingled and conveyed from one point to another. In this connection I provide a pair of oppositely rotatable propellers which are so constructed and arranged as to move material in a single direction.
lt is a further object of this invention to provide a simply constructed, readily operated device of this character which can be easily installed and used in connection with various types of machinery.
Vith these general objects in view their vention resides in the novel features of construction, combination and arrangement of parts which will be hereinafter more particularly described and claimed.

Referring more particularly to this draw-' ing, it will be seen that the reference character 1 denotes a two part casing mounted on a suitable base 2 and having an inlet 8 opening into one side wall 4 adjacent the peripheral edge thereof.
An outlet 5 is provided for the casing in its peripheral wall 6 adjacent the opposite flat wall 7, and at a point substantially diametrically opposite the inlet 3. A suitable supply pipe 8 is connected with the inlet 3 and a discharge pipe 9 suitably attached to the outlet 5.
Each of the opposite flat walls 4 and 7 has same plane.

The shaft 12 extends through the wall 4 and has a propeller ll-secured to its inner end within one half of thecasing 1, the other shaft 13 which projects through the wall 7 being similarly provided with a propeller 1 5.
The outer endsof the shafts 12 and 13 are connected with suitable means for revolv; ing the same in opposite directions. The blades 16 of the propeller 14 are angled or.
pitched in the opposite direction tothe blades 17 of the propeller 15, and the cross section of each is in the shape of an ogee curve so that although gas or other fluid'is suckediinto the casing 1, through the inlet 3 wherein such blades are rotated, and dis charged through the outlet 5, such fluid is considerably agitated and if compose'd of more than one kindof gas or other material being operated upon the same will be thor: oughly commingled. Consequently this invention will be found to be-of considerable benefit in. conveying the fluid from gas producers and similar machinery. The combination of a cylindrical casing wall,.a flat wall rigid therewith at one end thereof, a side wall at the other end thereof,
a shaft journalled. in said side wall, a propeller rigid therewith, said side wall having an inlet opening therein between said propeller and said cylindrical casing wall, a secend shaft journalled to rotate in said flat H wall, the blades of said propeller being oppositely disposed, said cylindrical casing wall having an outlet opening therein, adj acent said second propeller.
