Jlpplication filed Ziliareh 1B, 1921.. Serial Ito. 453,565
To all whom it may concern.
Be it known that I, Vi nmmn E. Orson, citizen f the United States, residing at Stevens Point inpthe county oi Portage and State of il is'consin, have invented. certain new and useful Improvements in Games, of which the following a specification.

An additional object is to provide a game adapted to be played upon a game board or table and including movable game pieces designed to be impelled over a playing surface by means shooting stick or cue.
iVith the above and other objects in View, the invention may be said to reside generally in the details of construction combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully pointed out and described. reference being had to the accompanyin drawings, wherein- Figure l is a top plan View of the invention and Figure 2, thereof.
Corrcspeiulino and like parts are referred to in the following description and indirated in the several views of the drawings a transverse cross-scetional view by like rater-once characters.
billiard cloth, and provided adjacent the sides and ends with rubber cushions 2 that form a rebounding loil from which the game pieces may be deflected. At the center of the table a pair of laterally spaced parallel guides 53 and l are provided and form a race-way through which the game pieces are adapted to be deflected as indicated by dotted lines in Figure l. The game board is provided upon its underside with supporting lugs 3 adjacent each corner, these lugs serving; to hold the game board firm and steady during the playing of the game.
The game pieces are, preferably, hard elastic balls of which many as desired may be :es are manuall irn- In the playing of thegame with only two,
game pieces, one ot-them constitutes the cue ball 1'' and the other an objective ball 8. The object of the game is to drive the objective ball through the raceway between guides 23 and a by causing it to rein nd 'i the cushion. (.onserpiently. in. tr of the game, the ball Y is struck. l 7 stick 6 in such a manner as to drive ball 8 so that it shall carom or rebound from the cushioned edges 2. ostensibly to enter between and pass through guides 3 and Any suitable rules may be adopted for regulating the scoring and playing of the game. I
The foregoing description and accompany ing drawings have reference to what might be considered to be the approyee'l or preferred form o't my invention. I desire it to be understood that I may make such changes in the construction, combination and arrangement of parts, materials dimensions, et cetera. as may prove expedient and "fall within the scope oi the appended claim.
Haring thus d sc'ribed my invention, What I claim new and desire to secure by Let ters Patent is:-
A game o'ti'the character described comprising a gamev board having a substantially oblong shaped playing surface, cushion rails formed on each side of the. game hearth guide members arranged longitudinally of the playing surface and located centrally there on, said guide members being spaced from. the sides of the game board and arranged parallel to each other, said guide members forming means to receive the game pieces which deflect or rebound from the cushioned rails.
