It is understood that this invention is not limited to mounting the window cleaner from a clip or frame, but that the bearing portion 5 is capable of being mounted in other, locations and supporting media old in ,the art. Neither is the bearing portion 5 restricted to rotative movement in its support but may be adapted for other motions old in the art for such bearing portions.

We claim as our invention: 1. A window cleaner comprising a bearing portion, a wiper and an operating handle attached to and movableinto alinement with the bearing portion for insertion or removal of the cleaner from a support. 2. Awindow cleaner comprising a wiper,

an operating handle therefor and a bear ing portion arranged at an angle to the wiper, said handle being pivoted to the bearing portion, whereby it may be alined with the bearing portion for insertion or removal of the window cleaner from its mounting.

3. A window cleaner which comprises a wiper, an operating handle and a bearing portion, the operating handle being movable relativelyfto the bearing portion for alinement therewithwherebv the window cleaner may 'be positionedpr demounted by axially moving the bearing portion and alined' bearing portion and movable into axial alinement therewith, a resilient member arranged between the support and'handle and holding the wiper in contact with the Window to be cleaned.

5. The combination with a support, of awindow cleaner comprising a wlper, an op erating handle, a bearing portion arranged in the support between them, said handle being pivoted to the bearing portion and adapted to be moved into alin ment therewith, and a resilient member engaging the handle on opposite sides of its pivot and cooperating with the support to hold the wiper in engagement with the window.

6. The combination with a support of a njndow cleaner comprising a wiper, an operating handle, a bearing portion arranged in the support between thennsaid handle being pivoted to the bearing portion and adapted to be moved into alinement therewith. and a resilient member arranged between the handle and support and holding the wiper in contact with the window to be ent thickness.
