ne object of the invention is to provide means to facilitate the drawing-in of the nets used for fishing purposes 1n sucha manner that less labor is necessary, one man being only necessary to do the work of two men. Another object of the invention consists in the provision of a device which reduces friction of the net on the walls and edges of the boat when the net is drawn into the boat preventing thereby rapid wearingand tearing of the net.
Other objects of the mvention relate to the provision of minor part-s cooperating with the elements above noted and to details of construction, all of which will be more clearly set forth in the followlng specification:
With the above objects in View the inven-- tion resides in the parts and combination of parts hereinafter described, and particu- Thefishing boat-illustrated comprises (in the upper edge of each sidewall 8 a number ranged between two adjacent rollers 1 are provided each with a flap 9 passing over the edge of thewall into the" boat and with a nose 4 arranged on the outer side of the wall 8. Each end of a roller is mounted on a ball 2 rotatably arranged on a bolt .7 screwed into the bearing 3. The end of each roller 1 projects into a recess 6 of the bearing 3 having some play in it. The bearings '45 of tubularrol-lers'l rotatably mounted in bearings 3, 5. The bearings 3 which are ar- 5 are used to hold the-free end of the last, 7
What I wish to secure by Letters Patent is In combination, a member having a recess in one side and also having means whereby said member may be attached to a gun- Wale, a tubular roller arranged'with one end I in said recess, a bearing ball in said end of the roller and a supporting member for said and proj eotin'g from the first-named member. In witness whereof I affix my signature.
bearing ball and on whichthe same rotates, Y said supporting member being attached to ALBERT MADORIN. I I i
