Be it known that 1, WILLIAM CoLLINs, citizen of the "United States, residing at Houston, in the county of Harris and State of Texas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Regin for Cotton and other Fibrous Material, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates. to new and useful improvements in a regin for cotton and other fibrous material.

One object of the invention is to provide a machine of the character described specially adapted for use in reginning and re conditioning cotton. In handling baled cot- -ton as it comes from the gin, and particularly in compressing the same there is a certain amount of waste, and low grade cotton thrown aside as'unfit to enter the com pressedbale, andjit isthe object of this in- .vention to provide a machine by means of .which this waste andlow grade cotton may be re-conditioned and prepared for market and the grade thereof materially improved.

' Another object of this invention is'to provide a machine of the character described which is of simple construction and which may be cheaply and easily manufactured and readily applied to the ordinary gin now in common use.

With the above and other objects in view the invention has particular relation to certain novel features of construction, operation and arrangement of parts, an example of which is described in this specification and .illustrated in the accompanying drawings wherein Fig. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view, and
