The chute B preferably'islined with tiles 18 to prevent wear by the abrasive adlion of the conveyed material, and binder bars 19 are arranged transverselyv at the opposite ends of the' bottom of the chute to hold the Y tiles 18 in position.
My improved chute especially designed for loading coke, but it will be apparent that it may be used for handlingmany varieties of material other thancoke.
