An object of the inventionis to' provide means applicable to the wall or. door of a hotel room, or of a private' dwelling for permitting the delivery and collection .of articles without leaving them exposed and without disturbing the occupant .of the room or dwelling. f 7

The spring is resilient enough to close the open door 14, thus serving the same purpose as does spring 26 for door 13.
