The object of the invention isV to hold more iirmly those portions of certain treble strings of a piano which lie between the main bridge and the hitch pins, thereby changing' more or less the pressure of the strings on the bridge.
In the accompanying drawing- Figure 1 shows diagrammatically the treble end of a piano plate with strings.
