METHOD OF INGL OSING TUBES WITHIN TUBES.
\Vithin Tubes, of which the following is a specification.
'The invention is a method of securing a tube within a tube, so that one tube'lines the other, by a single electrical weld produced on the outer tube.
In the accompanying. drawing Figure 1 is a View of the tubes before welding, the outer tube being in section.

Into said tube A is inserted the inner tube C. The edges of gap B are then brought together and electrically welded. The width of the outer tube is to be such that when said edges are welded, said outer tube will fit upon the inner tube, as shown in Fig. 2.
lVe claim:
The method of inclosing a tube within a tube, which consists in forming the outer tube by bending a plate into tubular form with a gap between its lon 'tudinal edges, placing a tube within said nt plate, and finally bringing the edges of said outer tube into contact and electrically welding the same- In: testimony whereof we have affixed our signatures in presence of two witnesses.
