With lthese and other objects in View, my
invention 'comprises certain combinations of ingredients and the arrangementof -layers as will be more specifically pointed out in the following description, and clearly illustrated in the accompanying drawings'.
In the drawings,`
- Figure l'is a perspectiveview of a piece of my improved roofing, showing one corner of a layer turned up to reveal the position of the Wire mesh therein.
Fig. 2 is an edge view in elevation of Iny improved roofing.
Referring to the drawings by numerals, il designates the inner layer, 2 is the wire mesh, and 3 is the outer or top layer; the
Specification of 'Letters Patent.
Patented Dee. 21, 1920. 191e. serial No. 302,151.
inner layer l is provided with an inner, smooth surface el, while the upper or outer layer 3 is provided with'a roughened or I wish it to be understood that I reserve'- the right tomake such minor alterations 0r changes in the manufacture of my roong as shall appear to one skilled in the art to` which this invention-relates, which changes or alterations4 shall fairl fall Within the scope o f Vtheappended c aims.
lVhat I claim is:
1. A roofing of 'the class described, comprisingcotton, Wool, linen, silk, oil, coal-tar products, asbestos, Wood pulp, rubber, asphalt, and metal wire.,
