IMPROVEMENT IN PADS FOR HORSE-COLLARS.

To all whom 'it may concern:
Beit known that I, THEoPHILUs NEWBOLD, of Salisbury, Gliariton county, Missouri, have invented an Improvement in Pads-for Horse- Oollars, of which the following is a specification:
This invention relates to a new and useful improvement in pads for horse-collars; and consists in a pad made in two sections, united at top and bottom by elastic straps, the object being to facilitate the ready and safe adjustment of the pads which protect the horse from the irritation occasioned by the moving of the collar, and at the same time protects the collar from the injurious eiects of perspiration.
In the drawing, Figure l is a view of the pad with the ends of the sections drawn together by the elastic straps' or bands, and Fig. 2 when they are drawn apart.
AA represents the sections of the pad, and B B the elastic straps, which may be of either rubber, webbing, or other elastic materia-1.
What I claim as my invention is- The pad consisting of the sections A A united by elastic straps B B, as described.
