Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 132,565, dated October 29, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, THOMAS DAviEs, of Cleveland in the county of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Steam-Exhaust for Locomotive-Boilers, of which the following is a specification:
My invention relates to an improvement in the means for supporting the ring-jet pipes through which the steam is echausted in certain marine boilers; and consists in the construction and arrangement of parts herein described.
In the accompanying drawing, Figure l represents a partly-sectional side view; d, the front portion ofa locomotive boiler with the cap of the smoke-box oit', showing my improved arrangement of devices 5 Fig. 2 is :a front view of the saine 5 and Fig. 3 is a planview of the ring-exhaust pipe detached.
