Incarrying' out my process I use metallic powders and .use for each' impressionl only so much of the owder as is necessary to properly cver't e `impressed surfaces of the design. In carrying out my process I iirst slightly grease the dies or stamps and then apply .thereto a coating cfa metallic powder such, for example, as, ,ordlnary bronze powder. 4This may be eii'ecte'd by bringing the dies in contact-with a dat s urface on which the bronze powder is thinly spread.
The dies, which are heated in the ordin'iallner, are then brought into contact 'been suitably sized 'or powdered with resin orother thermo-plastic adhesive. What I claim as my invention is:
1. A process for the purpose described which consists n slightly gre-(wing the, facu `of a dira; applying a, metallic powder thereto; und impressing with the die an impressiblo, sur-favo, with :1n adhesive.
2. A process for the purpose described which consists in slightlyy greusng the 'face of a. heated die; applying a mutalc powder tic adhsi ve.
