The device embodying the invention is very simple. It comprises a plane surface, such as a board, stiff cardboard, or other suitable material, which may be of any'desired shape but is preferably square. Said board is indicated at A and'is bordered by a peripheral flange or similar obstruction'B which serves to prevent the sphere G deposited on said 'board from passing over the peripheral edges thereof. Each opening commimicates with the mouth of a pocket N of knitted or netted fabric or any other suitable and preferably flexible material secured to the lower face of the board A in any suitable manner as by means of the disks 0 between which and the said 'board A the edge portions of the pockets or sacks are clamped, said disks having central openings registering with the openings-I and being suitably secured to said board A.

In the center of the latter is a shallow,

depression P in which the sphereC is first placed as the players maintain the board A substantially level before starting to play.

The game consists in each player endeavoring to so manipulate the board. as to cause the sphere C to become deposited in a pocket scorin for him and reventin the same from entering a pocket scoring for his adversary. The pockets which communicate with the several openings H score for one of the players and the other 'set for the adversary. The disposition of the respective sets of pockets is obviously such that when the sphere is favorably positioned to enter a pocket or pockets at one side of the board scoring for one player, it is equally advantageously positioned to enter the opponents pocket. Hence there is no advantage to either player to have the sphere at his side of the board and this causes the players to use their muscles to the best advantage by slight Wrist movements to cause the board to tilt in any direction. 'The flexible cords prevent the use of force to press down any portion of the board but enable same to be raised at one side or corner requiring a counter or neutralizing movement on the part of the opposing player.- I I The openings I may be designated in suitable rules of the game to affect the scores of the players in any desired manner.

I claim as my invention i r l. A game device including a bodyhaving plane surface over which an object is adapted to travel by gravity, a plurality of pockets underhanging said plane surface and each adapted to receive the said object,

and a plurality of flexible elements connected to the said body for suspending the same from the hands of and adapted respectively to be. manipulated by players. I 1

A game device including a platform having a plurality of perforations, a body adapted to enter any one of said perforations, and two pairs of flexible elements, each of said elements being secured at one of its ends to the said platform at a corner of the same and being adapted to be supported at its other end by the hand of a player.

3. A game device including a platform having a plurality of perforations, a body 7 adapted to enter any one of said perforations, andtwo pairs of supporting elements, each pair connected to said platform at one side thereof, and each of said elements being connected at one end to the said platform through a substantiallyuniversal joint and being adapted to. have its other end held by the hand of a player.

Aegame device including a platform having an upper surface over which an object is adapted to be propelled by gravity and having a plurality of goal points disposed thereon, means associated with said platform for initially holding said object symmetrically central of saidgoal points: and a plurality of flexible supporting 1nembers connected to said platform symmetrically with respect to said goal points for suspending the same from the hands of and each of said members being adapted to be manipulated by player. 7
