VIn the drawings, a pair vof spaced main vskid members 1 are provided upon which'are mounted at each end thereof, the Vbrackets 2 for :supporting the main framemembers 3 and 4, to which are secured the various transverse and longitudinal beams 5, located between the said members. Upon these beams can be carried dredge mechanism of any preferred type. i
The front member 3 of the main frame has mounted at its eXtreme ends the stud shafts 6 upon which are swingingly mounted the bell crank levers '7 having mounted on their lower arms the rollers 8.
Auxiliary Vskids 9, having channel irons l0 on their upper surface, are located Yon eachside of the main skids 1 and said channel irons 10 form tracks, which the rollers g8 of the bell crank levers 7 are adapted to traverse.

Two drums 18 and 13n are loosely mounted arately rotated with the sleeve 1 5 by throwing either or both into engagement with a clutch member 19. The two drums are positioned on the sleeve 15 by means ofcollars 20 and are provided with corrugatedrecesses 21 which receive thecorru'gated periphery 22 ofthe clutch member 19, thereby securely locking Vthe clutch member 19 and the drums together. In a device of the character described, a pair of spaced main skids, a pair of auxiliary skids spaced from and adjacent the outer sides of the main skids, a frame mounted on each end and at the middle of said main skids, a bell crank lever mounted at each end of said framev and over-hanging the auxiliary skids, a roller carried by the bell crank levers and adapted to ride on the auxiliary skids, cables attached to the auxiliary skids for moving both pairs of skids with relation to each other, said cables running forward and rearward around the pulleys, cables ruiming rearward around the pulleys for operating said bell crank levers and raising said frame and said main skids, and means for operating said cables.

In a device of the character described, a pair of main skids, a pair of auxiliary skids spaced from and arranged adjacent the outer sides of the main skids, a frame mounted on said main skids, a pair of bell crank levers mounted on said frame andY overhanging the auxiliary skids, Vrollers mounted on said levers and adapted to ride on the auxiliary skids, cables for moving both pairs of skids with relation to each other, cables for operating said bell crank -levers for raising the forward ends of said slightly in advance of the center of gravity of the machineand adapted to travel upon said skids, whereby the frame is lifted at Vtwo points only and whereby the machine rest upon the ground, auxiliary supporting means therefor adapted to travel on the ground, lifting means mounted on said frame slightly in advance of the center of gravity of the machine and adapted to travel upon the auxiliary supporting means, whereby the frame is lifted at two points only and whereby the rear end of the frame is dragged along the ground as the machine moves forwardly, said supporting means being arranged on opposite sides of the frame adjacent the outer edges of the frame, means for alternately throwing the lifting means into and out of engagement with the auxiliary supporting means and means for alternately advancing the said frame and auxiliary supporting means.

In a device of the character described, a pair of spaced main skids, a pair of auxiliary skids spaced from and arranged adjacent the outer sidesof the main skids, a frame mounted on said main skids, pulleys mounted at each end of the main skids, abell crank lever mounted at each side of said frame and overhanging the respective auxiliary skids, a roller carried by each bell crank lever and adapted to ride on the respective auxiliary skid, cables for moving Vboth pairs of skids with relation to each other, cables for operating said bell crank leversV and raising either or both sides of said frame to lift the main skids at their forward ends,'wheres by the main skids may be liftedV at either or both sidesat their forward ends, and means Vfor operating said cables.
