'To all whom it may concern:
' Be it known that I, ARTHUR F. a citizen of the United States, Los Angeles,rin the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented new and useful Improvements in Containers, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to containers for confections and the like, the object being to provide an inexpensive and sanitary package especially suited for paste confections, and from which the confection may be discharged by squeezing or rolling one end of the ackage.
T e container comprises a paper wrapper, out from a segmental sheet, folded into a substantially conical receptacle and a lining of the same made of grease and waterproofed paper formed of a similarly shaped sheet but of larger size and folded to form WILLIAMS, residing at double walls, the apex and base ends of the package being folded upon themselves and suitably secured together to a substantially triangular shaped package. When it is desired to discharge the contents, the apex end is torn off and the base portion is squeezed to discharge the contents through the opening at the apex.
One form which my invention may assume is exemplified in the following description and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 shows a side elevation of a package constructed in accordance with my invention.

The package or container comprises, as shown in its present form, a lining 10 formed of a single sheet of greased and waterproofed paper which, as shown in Fig. 4:, is in the shape of'a segment, one portion of which is of greater radial length than the other ed that an extension 11 is formed on one half thereof. This sheet is folded upon the wrapthe lining in para cone-shaped die to form a receptacle of the same shape, having walls of double thickness, the shorter'portion of the sheet being on the inside. The fla 12 is disposed on t e outside and is suitab y pasted or secured in place against the underlying sheet to hold the package closed.
A wrapper 14 is provided to inclose the lining, the wrapper being made of a single sheet, as shown in Fig. 5, which is segmental in form and adapted to be folded into cone shape, with the edges overlapping and pasted or otherwise secured together. The lining is then inserted in the wrapper and filled with a paste confection.
When the lining is in place within the wrapper and the package is filled with a confection, the ends are closed by folding them, as shown at 16 and 17, and suitably securing them in place, preferably by means of clips 18, thereby forming a substantially triangular-shaped package. In use the apex end is torn off to expose the contents and the base portion is then squeezed or rolled to force out the confection in any amount desired. If only a portion of the contents be consumed at one time, the apex end can be closed by folding, as before, and the contents will then be kept in a fresh condition indefinitely.
Such a package is inexpensive and easy to make, has moisture and vermin-proof qualities, and while primarily intended for confections, being a convenient and cleanly method of dispensing sticky substances of this nature, it may also be used for packaging other kinds of material.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is 1. A wrapper comprising a single sheet of material composed of two segmental fields of unequal radial length and having a common center whereby a cone may be formed from said sheet having a continuous inner and outer wall and provided with a sealing flap at its base.
