This invention relates to an electrical recording mechanism which is more particularlv applicable or use in connection with devices for exhibiting public announcements, advertisements or the like, in \vhich'tho mechanism for setting the bands. cards, flaps or other means carrying or forming letters or other symbols tohe exhibited are. set by electrical impulses transmitted from a sending station.
The object of the apparatus is to enable the various settings. of the. advertising or otherapparatus at the exhibiting station to be recorded, thus affording a check upon the operator. especially in the case. of handtransmitted impulses and also rendering it possible to preserve permanent details of ad vcrtisements or other announcements em hibited.
