Be it known that ll, JOHN Boren, a subject of the King of Norway, and a resident of the city of New York, county of Kings, and State of New York, whose post-Omoo address is Flatiron Building, New York city, have invented a new and useful fmprovement in lncinerators, of 4which the following is a specification.
The object of my invention is to provide an apparatus of this class which will eciently and economically incinerate all garbage or waste material that may be deposited therein. 'llhis object is accomplished by my invention, one embodiment of which is hereinafter more particularly set forth.

sides 4l and a back 5, as well as a front 6, to which front is secured, near its top, a garbage chute 7 normally closed by a hinged lid 6, and below said chute 7 is secured a frame 9 with a cleaning door 10, another frame 11 with a door. 112 which permits access to fthe hre box, and 'a frame 13 for the ash pit door 1i. rlthese three 'doors are made in the conventional way and hinged to their respective frames ink the conventional manner, and each door normally closes a corresponding opening in the front wall 6.

so that they are capable of withstanding a great deal of heat. rlhese tiles may be put together in any suitable way and covered with asbestos and iron or other insulating or protecting material.
The Hue 3 of the top 2 runs to a vertically disposed flue which is formed by the inner tiling 15, which tiling is warped at 16 so as to fit the shape of the flue 3 and arched at 17, at its lower edge so as not to interfere with the lire box which is above the grate 19 and between the sides yand front and rear walls, and to properly support itself.
The second inner tiling 20 runs parallel to the lower part of the tiling 15 and is mounted in the same way, from the sides d, and recessed at its lower edge at 21 so as to conform to the shape of the lire box, and at vdoor 10, and at its upper edge it is recessed at 23 so as to permit the vaporized products to escape through the front flue, or these products may escape through the opening 2t inthe tiling 15, which opening is opposite the opening 23 and thus get directly up the chimney. llt will be noted that the recess 23 is protected from all garbage by a shelf 25 which forms a part of the garbage chute.

While l have shown and described one embodiment of m invention, it is obvious that it is not restricted thereto, but is broad enough to v cover all structures that come within the scope of the annexed claim.
Having thus described my invention, what l claim is:
A device of the class described comprising a chamber having a top, front,` rear and side walls, a pair of vertical interior partitions extending from side wall to side wall withinthe chamber forming a garbage receiving chamber between them and also forming ues between them and the front' and rear walls respectively, a horizontal garbage supporting grate extending between said partitions adjacent their lower ends, a fire grate below the lower ends of said partitions, the'front partition having an open- 'ing intermediate its ends and a garbage recelving opening leading to the garbage receivin chamber adjacent its upper end, both of sai openings being above the garbage supporting grate, the front Wall of the first named chamber having an opening above the upper end of the front partition registering with thc garbage receiving opening in the front partition, said front wall also having an opening registering With the opening in the front partition intermediate its ends, said front wall also having apair of additional openings, one situated above the fire grate and the other below said grate, said top being provided with an outlet Hue in communication with the Hue adjacent the rear wall, and said rear partition having an opening near its upper end.
