Thisblock or body is bored through its top to form spaced series of vertical cylinders 5 from the bottoms of which bored extensions 6 and 7 are made to provide vertically spaced seats 8 and 9 for the inwardly opening ball valves 10 and yll. Through the opposite vsides of the web part 2 bores 12 are made for establishing communication betweenthe chamber 4 and the respective passage 7. Threaded in the upper end of passage 14 is a delivery pipe 19 extending upwardly within the casing and 'having its upper end deflected through and secured to the side walls of the casing. In practical use, the lubricating mechanism or apparatus is installed in any convenient position on the automobile and the .several delivery pipes connected through piping to theV several bearings of the machine. Consequently, one or two turns of the crank handle will be effective in supplying suliicient lubricant to each bearing to which a delivery pipe leads.
Thus, may be accomplished in a fraction of a minute Athat which 'would require onehalf houror more under the ordinary method. of manually oiling each bearing separately beside avoiding all the inconvenience of soiling the hands and clothing and the waste of oil.
The chamber 4 being annular or continuerfect circulation of the lubricant is obtained. All of' thetpassa es and cylinders in the body are capable of being bored, the outer end of passage 13 being suitably plugged in an obvious manner.
What is claimed is:
1. In a force feed lubricator, a box-like casing opened at its top, a substantially ll'sectioned lbody disposed 4therein and formed with spaced series of cylindersopening through its top, each cylinder having a valved inlet extending downwardly and opening laterally through the web of the body and a valved outletfextending laterally in the adjacent over-hanging portion of the body and opening upwardly through its top, a delivery pipe threaded in the outlet of each cylinder and passing through the side of the casin a plunger in each cylinder, the latter aring at its upper end, a
packing gland in the iared upper end of the cylinder about its plunger, a spring encircling the latter and seating on the gland for iftin the plunger, and means for depressing t e plungers.
. 2. In a force feed lubricator, a box-like casing pened at its top, a substantially T- section d body disposed therein and formed with s aced series of cylinders opening throu its top, each cylinder having a valve linlet extending downwardly and openin laterally through the web of the body a da valved outlet extending laterally in the adjacent overhanging portion of Langeac the body and opening upwardly through its top, spring-lifted plungers in the cylinders, and means for depressing the plungers.

In a force feed lubricator, a box-like casing opened `at its top, a substantially T- sectioned body disposed therein and formed with spaced series of cylinders opening through its top, each cylinder having a valved inlet extending downwardly and vopening laterally through the web of the body and a'valved outlet extending laterally in the adjacentroverhanging portion of the bodyv and opening upwardl through its top, a delivery pipe threade in the outlet of each cylinder and passing through the side of the casing, a plunger in each cylinder, and intergeared means for operating the series of plungers.
4. :In a force feed lubricator, a box-like casing opened at its top, a substantially T-sectioned body disposed therein and formed with spaced series of cylinders opening through its top, each cylinder having a valved inlet extending downwardly and opening laterally through the web of the' body and a valved outletv extending laterally in the adjacent overhangin portion of the lbody and opening upwar ly through its tfp, a delivery pipe threaded in the outlet o 'each cylinder and assing through the side of the casin a p unger in each cylinder, the latter aring at its upper end, a pach'ng gland in the flared upper end of thecylinder about its plunger, a spring encircling the latter andseating on the gland for lifting the plunger, and a cam for each series of plungers geared to the companion cam for depressing the respective plungers.
