A pump oi" the character described, comprising a casing having a water intake at its lower end, a head closing the upper end of the casing and having a valved water outlet. said head also having a valved air intake and a valved air outlet, a pair of water outlet pipes depending from said head within the casing and opening at their lower ends adjacent the lower end ot' said casing, valve actuating rods depending 'from the valves of the air intake and outlet, a lever actuating the saine and having limited movement in the rasl'ig, a bracket carried by the said water outlet pipes intermetliatc their ends. and in which the said lever is pivoted, havingl stops for the levers, latch members mounted in the said bracket and movable to engage and lock the said lever at the limits of its movei'nents, and lever actuating' floats in the casing having stems engaging the said lever and provided. with means for releasing said latch mem bers.

A pump of the character described, comprising a casing having a water intake at its lower end, a head closing the upper end of the casing and having a. valved water outlet, said head also having a valved air intake and a valved air outlet, a. pair of water outlet pipes depending from said head within the casing and openin at their lower ends adjacent the lower en of said casing, valve actuating rods depending from the valves of the air intake and outlet, a lever actuating the same. and having limited movement in the casing, a-oraclret carried by the said water outlet pi es intermediate their ends and in which t e said lever is pivoted, having stops for the levers, latch members mounted in the said bracket and movable to engage and lock the said lever at the limit of lts movelmentmand lever actuating floats in the casirl having/stems engaging the said lever., sait? stems ezrtending through portions et the said latch meml bers and having set collars thereon for en gaging and releasing the latch members in the movement of the floats.

A pump of the character described comprising a. casing having a Valved fluid intake at its lower end, and a valved Water outlet at its upper end, said casing also having at its upper end a valved air inlet and a valved air outlet, fluid controlled floats movable in said casing, a lever actuated by the said, fioats and having connections for controllng the valves of the air inlet and outlet, and connections for controlling said lever in its movements also actuated bv the said floats.

A pump of the character described comprising a casing havin a valved Huid intake at its lower end, an a valved Water outlet at its upper end, said casing also having at its upper end a valved air inlet and a valved air outlet, fluid controlled `floats movable in said casing, a lever actuated by the said floats and having connections for controlling the valves of the air inlet and outlet, means for locking. the said lever, and means carried by the floats for releasing the said locking means. y
