IMPROVEMENT IN TOOLS FOR CUTTING OFF PIPES.

Ais the body ot the cutter, one vend forming a nut for the adjusting set-screw B and the other being recessed out to receive the Workin g parts otl the tool. In operating with this cutter, the tube or pipe I is held in the vise in the usual manner. The point to be eut is then placed in the center ot' the crutch C, and the set-screw B turned down until the tube or pipe is firmly pressed by the swivel-crutch D. The cutter G can be leaving noburr either on the outside or the inside ot' the tube or pipe, and the friction of the crutches on the outside surface cleans it a-nd leaves it in good condition for receiving the screw-cutting tools.

I claim- A pipe-cutter having the cutting-tool, the lever E, the liuk F, and the set-screw H cornbined, substantially as and for the purpose hereinbefore set forth.
