Be it known that I, VILL H. VAN GUIL- DER, a citizen of the United States, and resident ofA New Rochelle, in the county of lVestchester and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Molding-Machines, of which the following is a specification.
TheA present invention relates to molding machines and more particularly to the type employed for building concrete walls in situ, an obj`ect of this invention being to provide a construction which has a maXimum adjustability in order that it may be used in the greatest variety of places with the fewest number' of parts.
To this and other ends, the invention con' sists of certain parts and combinations of parts all of which will be hereinafter described, the novel features being pointed out in the appended claims.

Referring more particularly to the drawings, 1 indicates the mold walls which are preferably in the form of sheet metal plates. For supporting these walls one or more frames are employed. In this instance, each fname comprises two upright members 2 frames 'to produce having laterally-turned ends 3 at their up perspective view of a Ina-1l per ends secured by bolts 4 to two slide bars 5 and 6, each ot said bars of openings 7 whereby the diii'erent distances apart to adapt the machine to walls of different thicknesses. The bars or slides 5 and 6 are arranged one above the other and are connected by vertical bolts 8 which operate in slots 9 to permit the sliding movement. Movement between the slides may be eifected in any suitable means as,'for instance, by a lever 10 pivoted at l1 to the lower slide bar and having a link 12 pivoted thereto at 13 and to the upper slide bar at 14, thereby forming a toggle which, when broken,v moves the bars in one direction and when straightened moves the bars in the other direction.
The mold walls 1 are mounted on the frame uprights 2 so as to be adjusted longitudinally in order that said plates may be projected diiierent distances from both sides of the frame. Any suitable means may be employed for securing the plates in position, but in this instance the lower ends of the uprights are formed with hooks 15 which are flush with rights and receive the lower edges of the mold walls 1, said edges being deflected outwardly at 16'in order to facilitate the positioning the mold upon acompleted portion ot a wall o1" a building. The upper edge of each mold wall may be held to its upright 2`by a clamping collar 1? which surrounds the upright and has a lip 18 overhanging the wall, a set screw 19 on the collar coperating with the upright to hold' the collar against movement.
In Figs. 4 and 5, two machines are shown connected together for the purpose of building a corner. ln this instance, each machine has one of its wallsl projected at one side of the frame' beyond the other, jected wall abuts the projected wall on the other machine at the same time thatthe other two walls of the machines are brought into abutment. 5. The combination with a frame, of two mold walls adjustable longitudinally there# on, each wall having alined eyes at opposite ends and each wall als'o having two series of longitudinally extending openings.
6. The combination with a traine, of two mold walls adjustable longitudinally thereon to project different distances from either side of the machine, and having alined eyes it opposite ends.
