Inv .thq..drawing forming ia 1")artofthis specification, igure 1 is a part side elevation, part vertical longitudinal section of a yoke showing my improvements 'in connection therewith. Fig. 2 is a horizontal sectional view of the structure illustrated in Fig. 1 and taken on the line 2-2 thereof. Fig. 3 is a front end elevation of the yoke. And Fig. 4 is a detail perspective of one of the locking blocks employed.
Referring to said drawing, 10 denotes a standard draw-bar having the usual butt 11 provided with upper shoulder 12 and lower shoulder 13. The yoke A, which as shown is preferably a steel casting, is provided with upper arm 14, lower arm 15, rear connecting piece 16. and a hollow, boxlike hood or head 17 at its front end, the hood being open at the front and provided with side walls 1818.' and upper wall 19, the upper wall 19 being provided on its inner face with an integral, transversely extending gib or shoulder 20, the latter being adapted to mirror onxoaeo, rumors, assienon a'dwmifiktt "CHZZY,VNEW;YO:RKL' IL a I Yoxm r it; I, L912, m; Specification of Letters 'Pa'teht. 1 Patented Renewed August 27, 1917. As will be understood, the parts are assembled in the reverse manner of that just described.
In order to provide for radial movement of the draw-bar relative to the oke, the upper shoulder or gib 20 is provl ed on its inner face with a convex surface 29 and the upper portion of the block 23 1s ro-' vided with a similar convexly curved we 30.
