mourn-SOAP IXT'URE. y
To all 10i/wm t mayfconcem n v Beit. knownthat I, EARL'G. WA'rnoUs, a
citizenzof theUnited States, residing at Chicago,fCook county, Illinois,-have invented certain new and useful Improvementsfin.
Liquidoap- Fixtures,' of 'which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to,` a liquid soap iX- ture and the object thereof isto` provide a simple and eiiicient bracket or holder for the .liquid soapv receptacle and. also -tonpro-fi vide a receptacle of a form to advanta-z-- geously coperate therewith. The various features of advantage and utility in my iixture will be apparent from the description hereinafter given. l
In the drawings Figure 1 is a front elevation of my fixture; Fig. 2 a section on the line 2-2 of Fig. l, but showing the rear portion of the liquid soap receptacle in elevation; Fig. 3 a section on the line 8 8 of Fig. 2, and Fig. 4 a section on the line 4-4 of Fig. 1.
Referring to the present embodiment of my invention as herein shown, the liquid soap receptacle l which may be of suitable dimensions, is preferably of the shape and contour shown in the drawings, the saine having a spherical or convex front portion, a straight vertical rear portion adapted to be placed against a suitable support and a converging or restricted top portion or mouth adapted to be closed by any suitable closure such as the flanged cap 2. In this cap there is mounted the usual delivery spout 3 and the pumping mechanism including the depending tube 4 and piston or plunger 5. As this mechanism may be of any suitable .character and as it forms no part of my present invention, the saine need not be further described.
rThe bracket consists of a wire which is here an endless or one-piece wire which is so bent that it is capable of properly engaging and supporting the receptacle when such bracket is attached to a support. As shown, this wire is bent into two V-shaped portions 6 adapted to correspond with the general contour of two opposite sides of the receptacle and a lower or loop portion 7 adapted to engage the lower front side of the receptacle, preferably at the groove 1a formed at the junction between the front spherical portion of the receptacle and the depending portion lb thereof. 'Ihe free ends of the wire are outwardly bent or turned *'specifieatiaof Lettersratent; ff Patent-@(1 @t 95311917." `Application iediseptember i9, 19.14.,.;V ser'iain: s625614.'
so as tor-engage` the openings '.in'thecap2as y shown in detail in'Fig. 3,.so thatuthe bracket and receptacle, i togethenwiththe cap,l are securely held together.. `The bracketis pro-I vided ,with suitable means forV attachment to a suitable support, such means `in the presentwinstance consisting oflan arched plate Shaving-anbpening'8 to adn'iit'fthev wires at-thetbottom of-the AV formed thereby.. rIhis plate is provided with a transverseopening-Sb.'through which passes suit-l able-fastening devices such as the screws 9 entering the support, not shown. vIt will be understood that the cap is provided with a filling opening 2a normally clesed by aremovable closure l0. My invention provides a very simple and efi'icient bracket for attaching the liquid soap receptacle to a suitable support, which bracket is also capable of securely holding Y the cap or closure for the mouth of the receptacle in position.`
I claim: l
l. In combination with a soap receptacle formed with a vertical flat rear face adapted to lseat against-a wall7 a bracket consisting of a continuous wire arranged to be attached at opposite sides of said verticalface of the receptacle to the wall and formed with a downward loop engaging the lower front side of the receptacle and having its free ends connected with the receptacle near its top.
2. In combination with a soap receptacle7 a bracket consisting of a continuous wire bent to form angular side portions'engaging opposite sides of the receptacle and an Y intermediate downwardly and forwardly eX- tending loop portion engaging the lower front side ofsuch receptacle, and means arranged at the angles of said side portions of the wire for attaching the bracket to a support.
3. In combination with a soap receptacle, a bracket consisting of a continuous wire bent to form V-shaped side portions engaging opposite sides of the receptacle anda connecting portion engaging the lower front side of such receptacle, and means engaging said side portions at the bottom of the V for attaching the bracket to a support.
4. In combination with a soap receptacle, a bracket consisting of a continuous wire bent to form V-shaped side portions engaging opposite sides of the receptacle and a connecting portion engaging the lower front side of such receptacle, and plates engaging the bottoms of said Vs of the bracket for attaching the bracket to a support.
5. In combination with a soap receptacle, a bracket consisting of a continuous Wire engaging the opposite sides thereof and a closure cap for the receptacle, the free ends of the Wire being connected With the cap.
6. In combination with a soap receptacle, a bracket consisting of a continuous Wire engaging the opposite sides thereof and a cap which closes the receptacle and which is provided with openings on opposite sides, the free ends of the Wire engaging in said openings.
7. In combination with a soap receptacle7 a bracket consisting of a continuous Wire engaging the opposite sides thereof and a ing opposite sides of the receptacle and a, connecting portion engaging the lower front side or" such receptacle, a cap which closesthe receptacle and to which the free ends of` the Wire are connected7 and means engaging said side portions for attaching the bracket to a support.
