The flues 12 and 14 are collectively equal in capacity to the flue 17, flue 15 or the flue 26. 'l This fiue 26 'leads from the port 21, With which it communicates, directly to the rear of the stove where it turns toward the fire-box side ,and communicates with a chimney flue 30.n rl`he fire-box side of this flue 26 has a port 27 adapted to efl'ect direct communication. between the top of the fireboxflue and thechimney. i
The front plate 31 of'the stove contains doors 32 and 33 Vfor the'oven and ashpit and a cleaning door 34 to allow access to the distribution fine' 16. A cleaning door 35 is al-o provided at the rearof the' stove in communication With a receptacle 86 having an inclined bottom 37 and into which'soot and particles of partially oonsumed fuel are precipitated.
The forward end of the fiue 26 is in-the fo'r'm of a'daniper 40, and a slidable damper 41 operated by a pull-red 4.2 controls the port 21 and a similar damper 43 operated by a. `pull-red 44. controls the port 27.
A 'damper-controlled port is located in the side wall 51 of the stove and'in a position slightly' below the g'rate, and the fireboir is;lin ed with fire-brick 52. J
The corner of the distribution flne 16 at eachside of the stove, (but not at the front andiback'), are cut elf by' plate's 55 andr respectirely to direct the flow froin the flue 17`to the fines 12 and 14.

This particular arrangement of parts and flues seoures either a direct draft from the fire through the space beneath the stove top to the chimney or from the fire-box around the oven to the chimney and in the latter casethere is ractcally a uniform heating of all parts o the o'ven.
What' I clairn is as follows- 1 In a coolcing apparatus, the combination `with a heat generator and an oven; of a coniparatively large distributing ehamber beneath theoven; a 'downwardly extending flue atl the rearfi of 'the apparatus leading from the heat generator to the rearv of the heat distributing Chamber; a chimney connection; and flues leading from the distributing Chamber 'np each side of the oven to the chimney connection, substantially as described.
2. In a cooking apparatus, the combinw tion With a. heat generator located at one side thereof, and an oven, of a distributing Chamber beneath the oven; a fine at the rear of the apparatus and leading from the heat generator to the rear ofthe distributing Chamber; a top fiue'oo'mpletely covering the top of the oven and having a central port in its top; side flues at the sides of'theov'en and efl'ecting communication between the distrbuting chan'iberand the top fine; a chimney fine, and a flne leadino' from the central port of the 'to flue to the chimney fiue, snbstantially as' escribed.
v'3, In a cooking' apparatus the combination with a fire-box located at one side there of, andan oven; of a distributing Chamber beneath the oven; a line at the rear of the apparatns and leadingfroin the fire-boxto the' rear of the distributing chamber; a top fiu'e completely covering the top of the oven and having a central port in its to side fiues at the sides of the oven and e ecting communication between the distributing chainber and the top flue; a chimn'e flue; a fineleading lfrom the central port o the top filie to the chimney 'flne and havin a port in the side thereof toward the fire- Withinwhich the. last-rnentionedv fiue'is com tained, and dampersjcontr'ollin the orts 0x and al stove top covering thefire-box and' space 14, In a'jcooking a'pparatu', t 'ecorn ina? the fapparatus .and the said oven a flue above the said plate and communicating at one end With the central port therein and at its opposite end With the chimney connection, the said fine having a port in the side thcreof toivard the fire-box; a stove top covering the fire-box; the oven and the space containing thelast mentioned fiue, and dampers controlling the said ports, substantially as described.
5. In a eooking apparatus, the combination With a chimney connection, a fire-box located near the top of one side thereof and having a grate, and an oven located between and spaced from the fire-boX and the opposite side of the apparatus the said oven being spaccd above the botto'ni of the apparatus; a plate located above and spaced from the top of the oven and having central port; a fine leading from the fire-box to the space beneath the oven and having its intake end disposed in close proximit'v to the grate, a horizontal line above the said plate and comn'iunirating at one end With the central port therein and having a port in the side thereof toward the fire-box; a stove top covering the fire-box; the oven and the space containing the last-mentioned flne; dampers controlling the said ports; a chimney fine commnnicating With the chimney connection and the last-mentioned flne, substantially as dcscribed.
