Having described. my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is: y

1. 7. A fence post formed-of sheet metal tapei-ed 'from end to ends-nd blunt at each end and V-sliaped horizontal section, ythe angle of .said V being.'substantially forteY degrees, the free edges ofthe Sides of the V- shaped body being rebent-'to form flanges at an angle of substantially eighty-nine degrees to the adjacent sides of the body portion, there bein a well rounded portion connecting each .flange with its adj acciit side and forming a seat for the fence fabric, and
