Be it known that I,IsnAC M. MILBANK, of, Greeniield Hill, in the county of Feirlield and Sta-te ot'Gonneeticut, have'invented und inude an Improvement in Cartridges. for Fire-Arms; and the following is declared to 'be a. Correct description thereof.

' This invention relates to e cartridge with'a, sheet-metal cese `and met-:il base.

I claim as my invention- 1. The netallio base having arecess for reoeiving the primer, which recess passes into an opening at the rear end of the sheet-metal case and. guides the parts while the base is' being soldered to the-case, as set forth.
