Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 122,021, dated December 19, 1871.

The hole B is for the reception of the remaining end after the line is set out; the point C to not as a turn for the rope; the bar D to act as a catch or clamp for the same; the ears E E and the pin F for the securing ot' the bar D to the block.
