Be it known that. I, HENRY G. l'iiiiseriw RING, a citizen of the United States, residin at San Diego, in the county of. San Diego and State of California, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Plate-Holders for X-Ray Exposures; and Ido hereby declare the following]r tobe a full, clear, and exact description oV the invention, such as will enable others skilled-in the art t0 which it appei'taiiis to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to thc letters and figures of reference marked there on, which form a part of this speci'iieatioii. This invention relates to certain new and ruseful iniproveiiients in devices foi' taking a plurality of X-ray exposuresloii a single .photographic plate and it has for its object to provide a device whiehwili enable a physician to take one. or more, preferably four, exposures in quick succession, of one part of a'patient Without moving said patient as is customary by iise of machines n ow in use.

A further object of thc invention. is to provideJ a casing made of' metal, the top covered by sheet lead, as is common iii plate holders and which covering is impervious to X-rays, and having a central opening in Vthe bottom and one inthe ton of the casing.
