DOMINIOK OARDULLO, OF TITUSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA.
IMPROVEMENT IN LIQUID SOAPS.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DOMINICK GARDULLO, of Titusville, in the county of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain (10mpound called Sicilian Liquid Soap, of which the following is a specification:
To prepare the said compound, take of pure Oastile soap four ounces, scrape it into thin sheets or shavings, and add of oil of sweet almonds and pure glycerine two ounces each, together with half an ounce of any essential oil to scent the mixture. Mix well and allow it to stand about twenty-four hours, then add four ounces of distilled water, shake or beat it till the whole is well mixed, and allow it to stand until the sediment has separated from the liquid; draw off the water and filter it through cotton. In cold weather the sediment will not separate from the liquid without it is slightly warmed by means of a warm- Witnesses ANDREW B. HOWLAND, NICHOLAS GARDULLO.
