Be it known that I, Wmmno H. BUNDY, of Syracuse, in the county of On ndaga' -and- State of New York, have inventedacertainnew and useful Time-Recorder, of which the following is a specification. .7 I This invention relates to time recorders, and particularly to means for positioning" the shiftable parts thereof and for controlling the printing operation in any position of such shiftable parts;.and the 'invention consists in the combinations and constructions, hereinafter set forth' and claimed,

As here shown, the wing 28 is provided with an arm 42 between its'ends which slidably engages a depending shoulder .43 arranged oentrally of he abutment, and the abutment is;con'ne;cted to its carriage by means of pin-and-slots 44. located near opposite ends of the abutment; and spring arms 45' act upwardly on opposite ends of the abutment. Thus when either end of the abutment is depressed, the abutment moves about the pin and-slot connection at the other end asga center, and thus 43 is but slightly depressed and partially actuates the wing 28 and hence in order to fully actuate the wing 28fboth ends of the abutment '20 must be depressed simultaneously. When but one end of the abutment .20 is. depressed, the
