To all whom t may concern:

Be it known that l, DANUJL A. Perrone, o. citizen of the United States, residing at Milton, in the county of Umatilla and State of Gregori, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Adjustable Hoes, of which the following is a specilication.

r)This invention relates to improvements in adjustable hoes, particularly out that type wherein adjustment Iin the angular relatively between the hoe blade and the handle is desirable.

' One object of the present invention is to provide a Jtour edge adjustable hoe oi' the above mentioned character which will permit of ready adj ustrnent between the handle and blade and is comparatively simple in construction and consequently economical to manufacture.

Another object of the invention. resides in the particular adjusting means which is in combination With the handle of the hoe and acts to secure the handle, ferrule and shank in fixed relation with each other and has a free end which forms the member permit-.

In detail, the hoe, as shown, comprises a blade l having; suitable edges which may be beveled as shown. The hoe l has secured thereto by rivets or the like 2 a flange meer ber 3 which eornprisesa piece of metal bent double on itself to provide a protruding flange l and the lower ends of said piece of metal being bent outwardly in opposite directions to provide securing members 5 through which the rivets 2 pass or the meno,- bers 5 may be Welded 'to the blade l. While, in the foregoing, have shown e spccilic embodiment of the present invention, it is nevertheless to be understood that,
