"To all "whom it may concern Be it known that l, HENRY E. BAST, a

citizen of the 'United States, residing at vention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

This invention relates to improvements in vulcanizing devices.

The principal object of the invention is to provide a simple and cheap devicefor repairing rubber boots.

Another object is to provide a novel and ellicient device of this "character whereby any part of the sole and heel or upper can he quickly and easily vulcanized.-

Uther objects and advantages will be apparent from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing.

F or use in vulcanizing the sole and heel or the sides and top of the upper of the boot, I attach an angle plate 24 to the screw 20 by means of a nut 25, so that the angle plate can be turned on the screw to various angles. The outstanding portion of the angle plate is formed with a longitudinally extending and open-ended slot 26, in which is slidably disposed a nut similar in cmistruction to the beiore-uientioned nut, and carrying a set screw 1.8. What is claimed is:

l. A vulcanizing apparatus for boots comprising; an adjustably rotatable lasting jaclr for siu porting a boot, and a movably adjustaliile vulcanizing formerirnember carried by the jack. v

2. A ulcanizing apparatus for boots comprising an adjusta-bly rotatable lastinp jack, an arrn rotatably adjustable on the jack and a vuloanizing former block slidably and rotatably adjustable on the arm.

3. A vulcanizing apparatus for boots comprising; an adjustably rotatable lasting jack, a longitudinally slotted arm rotatably and adjustably mounted on the jack, and a vulcanizin former blocl; slidably and re tataloly adgustable in the slotted arm.
