LIMBACHER, a citizen of the United States, residing at St.' Marys, in the county of Auglaize and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in CiLBurners; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will. enable othersskilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the saine, reference being hadto the accompany` ing drawings, and 'to the letters and figures l of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

My invention relates to new and useful improvements inl oil burners of a type adapted to control thepassage of the oil to a point where it is deflected in a. thin lm to currents ofl air and whereby a thorough mii;- ture of the oil with air is effected.
The object of the invention is to provide an oil burner wherein a proper mixture of the air and oil is accomplished, and the consumption of oil is minimized while thel resultin'g heat due to the combustion of the fuel thus obtained is of a maximum degree. The accompanying drawing illustrates my improved oil burner in an operative position in a furnace and reference is made to said drawing wherci1 l A represents the fire-brick wall 'of the furnace within which is mounted a pipe B. This pipe is shown as broken away in the drawing but it will be understood that the said pipe receives air under suitable pressure and conducts it to a point in the turnace where it miXes'with-thev oil. nclosed within the pipe B is a burner pipe C connecting with the oil feed pipe D by means of a screwthreaded sleeve E.
