To all whom it may concern:
1 Be it known that l, HENRY J. TRAnns, a citizen or the United States, and resident of ltdwardsville, Madison county, Illinois, have invented certain new ahduseful Improvements in Demountable Rims, of which a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, foaming a part hereof.

In order to provide for the rotation of the rim relative to the telly band, the telly band, as well as the telly, is slotted at 37, l, and through the inclined faces 32 at each side of the slots 31, the rim may be or left hand wheel.
Formed in the outside margin of the removable rim flange 29- are the diametrically used for either a right opposite seats 41, in order that a tool in the form of a bar may be placed insaid seats to rotate the rim flange relative to the rim as required in putting on or taking oil" a tire.
I claim:
In combination with a felly band having on its perhphery spaced annular shoulders of different inclinations, the outermost shoulder having openings therethrough and which openings are chamfered at their inner ends, a rim having on its inner perimeter spaced annular shoulders inclinedvto correspond with the shoplders of the telly band, projections on said rim for insertion through said openings and to engage said chamfered inner ends thereof and means to prevent relative rotation of the rim and felly band.
