This invention relates more particularly to extension tables having single central pedestals and equalizing, devices whereby the end sections of the top are-caused to move equally and simultaneously in opposite directions, enabling one person at c'ither end of a table to open and close the same.

It'also relates to slides of the class shown and described in United States Letters Patent No. 626,747.; dated June 13. 1890.

The main ohjec.ts'of'.-the invention are to prevent binding and sticking of the bars. especially when subjectedto load or incorporated in tables .of the kind above mentioned having equalizing devices and sup; ported-hysingle-inseparable central pedestals, and generally to simplify and improvct theconstructiorizind facilitate the operation of slides and tables ofthc-class above men.- tioned.
