To enable others skilled to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe its construction and operation.
In the accompanying drawing which forms part of my specication, Figure l is a side eleA vation of my improvement in chnrns. Fig. 2 is a vertical section of the same at the line y of Fig. l.
In the accompanying drawing, A A represent two Ordinary churns, which rest on a base, B, to which is secured an upright, C, lin which is pivote-d the axis e ofthe walking-beam D, to which at f are pivoted the dasher-staffs l l of the churns A A. To the axis e is attached a rod, h, and at right angles to it is attached a rod, z'. These rods or bars are provided with ball-wei ghts J JJ which are used for the purpose of compensating for the force required to lift the churn-flashers and walking-beam, thereby greatly diminishing the labor ot' churning. The walkingbeam is operated by the handle k.
What I claim as of my invention is- The arrangement of the pedestal B G, churns A A, dasher-staiis Z Z, walkingbeam D, ballweights J J J mounted on rods h i?, and pivoted operating-handle k, the whole constructed and arranged as herein described, and for the purpose set forth.
