To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ADOLF FREDRIK RING- srnoir, Jr, a subject of the King of Norway, residing in the town of Skien, Norway, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Aeroplanes, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in aeroplanes the object being to devise means by which the machine is maintained in horizontal position during downfall by accident and not by being steered by the horizontal rudder.
On the appended drawing an aeroplane provided with my improved device is shown in Figure 1 in elevation and in Fig. 2 in front View.
The machine is provided with the sideplanes a, which are stayed by braces b, 0, (Z, c in the ordinary manner.
7 and g are the the horizontal rudders; it is the vertical rudder; y' is the propellershaft with propeller 70; Z is the gondola; m and n are the supporting wheels, 0 and p are uprights or posts forming part of the frame of the machine.
