which the following is the specification,

scribethe operation of the same. When the hose connections 3 and 9 have been connected to their respective sources of supply the Water fed by the hydrant is turned on and the water passesthrough the hose connection 3, through the nozzle 6 and through the outlet 2 of the main .nozzle 1.
The rush of water through the extreme point of the main nozzle creates a vacuum in the main nozzle *and in the chemical solution supply nozzle 11. This vacuum serves to draw the solution from the supply tank through the hose 9 and nozzle 11 so as to mix with the stream of water passing between the outlet of the nozzle 6 and the outlet of the nozzle 1.

A device of the class described c0mprising a primary nozzle, a secondary nozzle having a diagonally cutaway lower portion, said portion located adjacent the lower end of said primary nozzle, a casing for inclosing said nozzles comprising a' hollow conical body having an outlet opening at its apex, and closure means for the base of said conical body supporting said nozzles.
