l. In dispensing apparatus, the combination ol' means tor holding a staelil of nested flanged cups, a stationair)7 wedging device adapted to engage the flanges of adjacent Lett-ers cups to separate the saine and means for moving the stack ot' cups into engagement with said wedging device.

2. in dispensing` apparatus. the combination oi' means tor holding a 4stack of liested llanged cups. stationary means havingl a pluralit)y ot' surfaces for engaging the cup hannes at a plurality of cireinnterentiallvspaced positions and means tor moving* the cups to bring the. flanges thereof into engagement with said surfaces.
