Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 115,441, dated May 30,1871.
To all whom it mag/concern:
Beit known that I, THoMAs C. CRAV'EN, of the city of,Philadelphia,.in the State of Pennsylvania, have .invented a new and useful Improvement in Cotton-'Gin Saws, of which the following is a specification:

To reduce the costof such saws it is desirable that theyT should be made with dies rather. than by the usual process of hammering.
The difficulty has been that the saws struck up in dies have been liable to warp. To obviate the difficulty I corrugate the blade of the saw concentrically, as shown.
I. olaim- As a new manufacture, a corrugated saw for cotton-girls, substantially as set forth.
