IMPROVEIMENT VIN THE MODES OF ATTACHING CAPS TO HUBS.

`Toall whom it may concern:
Be it known, that we, PETER HEOTER and RUDOLPH VIETOR, ofthe city of Grand Rapids, county of Kent and State of Michigan, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Hub-Gaps for Oarriages; and we do hereby declare that the `following is a full, clear, and sufficient description of our invention, reference being had to the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, and the same are made a part of this specification.
In the drawing, Figure l represents a sectional view of a carriage-hub to whichour invention is attached, showing also a sectional view of i the invention. Fig. 2 ofthe drawing is an end of the cap. `In Fig. 2, c c represents the cap proper, which is a ring or washer composed of any suitable material.
