said walls, and within these plates and the ad acent portions of the side walls, there is apparent, particularly from Figs. 2 to 5 inclusive, the forward end of the drum sink projects through an opening in the front cured to such portion ofthe sink, as by means of solder.
A closure for the opening in the front plate is afforded by the sheet metal door 22, the same being preferably beaded about its edges, as shown at 22, and having a central vertical slot'23 thereim'for a purpose to be explained hereinafter. The lower edge of the door is bent outwardly at right angles to its body portion and is provided with a sleeve 2% by which the door is hinged upon the pintle 21.
Carried by the inner surface of the door 22 is an open-ended, box-like. carrier, for the liquid fuel dispensing receptacle, such box-like carrier comprising side walls 25, 26 an end wall 27, the remaining end wall being formed by the door 22. For convenience of description, the carrier will be assumed to be in the position shown in Fig.

shown at 29, and these side wall extensions provide means. for pivot-ally supporting an operating handle for the carrier. This operating handle, indicated at 30, is carried by a pair of arms 31, which are pivotally connected at their inner ends to the extensions 29, as
indicated at 32. Thearms 31 are connected by a transverse rod 33 which, when the carrier is in the position shown in Fig. 3, is adapted to be received within notches 34 and which, when the door 22 is closed and the carrier thereby caused to assume the position shownin Fig. 5, isadapted to be received within the notches 35 in the extensions 29. By means ofthe handle 30, the door and the carrier are swung upon the hinge pintle 21 to the position shown in Fig. 2, thehandle 30 swinging through an arc of substantially 180,until the transverse rod 3t rests in the notches 35. - The liquid dispensing receptacle is indicated at 39 and consistsof a metallic can,
which is adapted to be inserted, in inverted position, and to fit loosely within the car rier and is provided with a neck 40 which is internally threaded for the reception of a threaded cap 41. Secured to this cap is a perforated cylindrical guide 4:2. Mounted within the cap and the guide is a valve stem 43 having a valve 44 thereon coiiperating with a valve seat 45 in the cap and adapted to close the port 46 through said seat. A
spring 47, interposed between the valve body and the end of the cylindrical guideis adapted to hold the valve to its seat. Secured to the same end of the receptacle 39 as the valve is a handle -l7, said handle being offset a slight distance from the center of the receptacle. Nithiirwhat will be the front wall of the dispensing receptacle (when the latter is in the position shown in Fig. 2) is a vertical recess 48. This. recess is narrow and relatively deep and extends substantially the full length of there'ceptacle 39. This recess forms a receptacle and a guard for a liquid level gage, said gage consisting of a glass tube d9 having metal caps'50 at the ends thereof through'which it is connected to the ends of the recess 48 and thereby to the interior of the dispensing receptacle. The arrangement'is such that the recess 48. will be in alinement with the slot 23 'in the door, whereby the gage may be obthe door 22 and the carrier 39 to the position shown in Fig. 3. A device of the character set forth comprising a liquid distributing receptacle, an open-ended carrier pivoted on a horizontal axis adjacent to said receptacle and adapted to be swung to a vertical position above or below said receptacle, a ledge overhanging the wall of the carrier adjacent to the hinge axis when the carrier is in its lowered position, and a liquid dispensing receptacle constructed and adapted to be supported within the carrier, With the ledge overhanging a wall thereof and having a discharge outlet adapted to be brought into operative relation with the distributingreceptacle when the carrier is swung thereabove.
4. A device of the character set forth comprising, aliquid distributing receptacle,-

In a device of the character set forth, the combination of a distributing receptacle, a dispensing receptacle having a mouth and supporting edge, a carrier for the dispensing receptacle which is hinged with respect to the first mentioned receptacle and adapted to be swung above the same, a ledge on the carrier which the supporting edge of the dispensing receptacle engages during the swinging of thecarrier, and means for preventing the disengagement of said edge from the ledge-during the swinging operation.

In a device of the character described, the combination of a distributing receptacle, a carrier for a dispensing receptacle hinged adjacent to the first mentioned receptacle and adapted to be swung above the same, and a handle pivoted to the carrier and adapted to be moved with respect there to as the carrier is swung upon the hinge. 8.
