LIGHTING-FIXTURE.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PAUL A. BREnsvoLo, a citizen of the United States of America, re-
.sicling at the city of St, Louis, State of Missouri, have invented a certain new and useful Lighting-Fixturd of which the following is such a full, clear, and exact description as will enable any one skilled in theart to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.
My invention relates to a lighting fixture and consists in-various novel features and details of construction, all of which will be described in the annexed specification and pointedout in the. appended claims.
In the accompanying drawings, which illustrate one form of fixture made in accordance with my invention, Figure l is aside view, partly in section and partly in elevation; Fig. 2 is a top plan view, some of the parts being removed; Fig. 3, is a section on the line 3 casing being removed; Fig. is a section on the line 4'L of Fig. 2; and Figs. 5, 6 and struction.
Like marks of reference refer to similar parts in the several views of the drawings. 10 represents the supporting member which is connected by means of a threaded .pipe 11 with a bracket consisting of two parts 12 and 13 respectively, as best shown three in number,
in Fig. 1. Secured to this bracket by means of screws 1% is a socket l 5 of any usual form for supporting an electric lamp bulb 16. The lower part of the bracket 13 is provided with an up-turned portion 17 upon the face of which are formed lugs 18, preferably Secured to these lugs 18 by means of screws 19 is .areflector "20 of the formbest shown in F ig. 5. The outer edge of the reflector 20 is provided with an upwardly extending flange 21 which is provided with slots 25, preferably threein number, for the passage of pins 9.6 carried by an annular frame 27. The flange 2% isalso preferably provided, adjacent to the slots 25, with re cesses 28 into which the pins26 may rest after the annular member .27 has been slightly rotated. Below the'reflector 20 is a second reflector 30 which, like the reflector 90, is provided with a central opening for the passage of the bulb 16, said opening being of sufficient size to allow for the passage of heated air between the bulb and the refiector. The reflector 20 is secured to the reflector 30 by means of a number of plates 31 which also form partitions dividing the reflector into a pluralityof compartments,
preferably six in number. 3lmay be secured to the reflectors in any suitable manner, but I prefer to provide said partitions with lugs '32 adapted tov pass through slots in the reflectors and be bent over, as best shown in Figs. 5 and 6.
