To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JOHN W. BERWICK, a subject of the King of Great Britain, and a citizen of the Dominion of Canada, residing at Brooklyn, county of Kings, State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Report-Records, of which the following is a. clear, full, and exact description. l

This invention relates to report sheets intended to be used in conducting a business. It is particularly useful when used in connection with a business requiring the entry of considerable data upon the report sheets.

A general object of the invention is to provide means for facilitating the entr and carrying forward of the figures relatlng to the business and especially with a view to enabling the result of the business during a considerable period to be presented concisely and systematically.

A principal object of the invention is to provide a report sheet especially adapted to receive data resulting from the conduct of a business during a more or less extended period of time, and arranged in such a way as to facilitate the systematic presentation of the entries therein.

A further object is to provide a report sheet which is arranged so as to coperate with the report sheet referred to above so that results or reports for short periods such as the daily or weekly results, can be readily tabulated or totaled upon the principal report sheets with a view to presenting the results of the business so that as far as pos-` sible the daily and weekly results are maintained together with the totals for the months or year.

The invention consists in the features, or combination of features of the report sheets to be set forth more fully hereinafter, while the broad scope of the invention will be pointed out in the appended claims.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a view showing one of the main report sheets, that is, a

sheet which covers a relatively long time period; and Fig. 2 is a view showing a plurality of the report sheets put together and forming a report-book or record.

The report sheets to be described or their novel features may be employed in the conduct of businesses of different kinds. For the purpose of illustration, I have illustrated the sheets as used in conducting a photographic developing and printing business.

Vhen adapting the report sheets to such a business, I prefer to provide a plurality of main report sheets 1 which preferably cover a week in time. These sheets are entitled Weekly summary and have a blank space 2 to show by whom the results or figures on names of employees operating in the different departments, and opposite each name line a number space may be provided to receive a number corresponding to the name of the employee. At a suitable point on each y of these sheets preferably at the lower righthand corner, I `provide a plurality of sepa rable coupons 5 which are separated from each other by score lines-as shown, and these c Jan., etc., corresponding to the regular succession` with

6 and 7` before and after each month abbreviation. In addition to this and preferably above the aforesaid coupons, I prefer to provide a plurality of detachable coupons 8 which are numbered consecutively from 1 to 5 and indicate the successive weeks which .may occur.

Below the different headings, each sheet 1 may be provided with the word Totals as indicated at 11 and on this total line the totals for each week canlbe written for they different departments, and below this point sundry expenses may be placed in the space 12. Below the space 12 columns are-provided for different purposes such as chemicals used, paper used, and columns indicata ing different sized prints made together with sundry expense blanks such as for salary total, etc. Preferably near the time' period coupons, such as the month coupons 5,spaces are provided for the entry of general eX- penses, such as rent, repairs, etc. l l
